K-6TH VOCALS AND HIP HOP

Music and singing have been central to Miki’s life since childhood. She joined STAND at 13 and began performing with their professional hip hop crew by 14. Over the years, STAND has helped her grow into a skilled teacher, choreographer, and songwriter. In high school, Miki was a member of Keller TRIBE (Show Choir) and earned awards at All-State Choir competitions. She later starred as Evie in Descendants: The Musical and Tess in Camp Rock: The Musical, and has choreographed productions such as Freaky Friday and Forward to the Past. She also co-wrote music for three original STAND musicals: No Place Like Home, Forward to the Past, and Inside Scoop. Currently, Miki serves as Associate Worship Pastor at The Mount in Keller, where she combines her love of music and faith to guide and inspire her students at STAND.

K-6 VOCALS AND ACTING

Alison Hale is a performer, director, music director, choreographer, and educator with over 15 years of experience in the performing arts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a Theatre minor from the University of North Texas. Some of her most recent performing roles she has brought to life are Katherine (Freaky Friday), Grace (Annie), and Shelby (Steel Magnolias). Alison has taught all ages across DFW, directing and choreographing shows like Annie Kids, Nemo Kids, Frozen Kids, and Junie B. Jones Jr. She is passionate about fostering creativity, confidence, and kindness in her students and is guided by her love for Jesus in every aspect of her work.

7-12 ACTING

Angel Somarriba is an American actor & writer who believes in taking a risk to tell a story. He’s hard at work on the first issue of the highly anticipated rebrand of the creative literary journal, Project Haiven (formerly Haiven House). Angel has been a part of the DFW theatre community for several years spanning many roles such as Butch Defeo in the regional premiere of Amityville’74, Henry Jekyll/Hyde in Jekyll and Hyde, and Pheobus De Martin in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which earned him a Column award nomination for best actor in a supporting role. He holds a BFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University and is pursuing an MFA in Screenwriting at Regent University to further his knowledge. “For an actor to effectively do their job, they must understand the text, cover to cover before they can truly play in the playground they’re given.”

7-12 HIP HOP

Deardre Randolph has been dancing since she was two years old and teaching since she was 15. While her expertise lies in hip-hop, she’s also well-versed in jazz, tap, and ballet. Deardre has performed at renowned venues like Bass Performance Hall and was a collegiate pom squad member at Stephen F. Austin State University. As the choreographer for STAND Performing Arts Ministries, Deardre is dedicated to shaping the next generation of dancers by fostering creativity, confidence, and faith through movement.

7-12 VOCALS

Carl Andersen has been involved in worship and music since the 8th grade, playing key roles as a singer, acoustic guitarist, electric guitarist, bassist, worship leader, and audio engineer. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Worship Leadership from The King's University and has a deep passion for using music to connect people with God. Carl believes that each person has unique, God-given talents designed to foster both personal growth and meaningful encounters with the Lord. Combining his extensive experience in church worship with his love for artistry, Carl creates authentic worship experiences that inspire and uplift. At STAND, he continues to bring his heart for worship and creative expertise to help others discover their own gifts and build connections through music.
